The following list is basic first aid materials that are good to have on hand. Other items that you might stock in a first aid kit will be largely dependent on what kind of activity you are doing and in what region. For all major injuries and illnesses, be sure to see a doctor.

For stomach trouble/cramps:

2 hot water bottles with leak-proof lids (good quality and at least one should have an enema/douche attatchment)
Food based digestive enzymes
Gas X (for temporary relief of bloating and/or gas)
Pure peppermint oil (for easing indigestion)
Immodium (for diarrhea not caused from food poisoning)

For sprain and strains:

2” and 4” wide ace bandages
Arm sling
Tiger Balm or Ben Gay
Arnica cream or ointment
Instant ice/heat packs

For eye issues:

Eye patch
Sterile eyewash
Eye-cup

For cuts (that don’t need stitches):

Assorted band-aids (from small to very large)
Neosporin or calendula ointment
Gauze roll
Gauze tape
Alcohol swabs or rubbing alcohol
Hydrogen peroxide
Q-tips

For splinters/imbedded things:

Tweezers (high quality)
Sewing needles (sterilize before using)

For illnesses:

Temperature gauge (oral and underarm)
Homeopathy kit (optional)
Ascorbic acid (vitamin C with bioflavonoids) (for preventing or shortening illness)

For pain:

I.B.Prophen/Advil
Clove oil (for temporary relief from toothache)
Mullen flower/Garlic oil (for earache)
Cotton balls (use with oil applications)

For survival:

Thermal ponchos
Flare sticks
Air horn
